Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC; ) is a state-owned aerospace company of the Taiwan (Republic of China) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs based in Taichung, Taiwan. It is known for developing the AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-kuo fighter. ==History== AIDC was established on 1 March 1969.〔Mondey, David, ed., ''The Complete Illustrated History of the Worlds Aircraft'', Secaucus, New Jersey: Chartwell Books, Inc., 1978, ISBN 0-89009-771-2, p. 72.〕 In 1983, it was transferred to the Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology.
